This is an MSYS Network Node. It is compatible with
NET/ROM, TheNet, G8BPQ, and other similar nodes.
Valid Commands:
!#131
Bye - Disconnects
!#132
Connect - Attempts connection to another node or normal station.
If connecting to a node listed by the Nodes, command use
C nodename -or- C nodecall
If connecting to a station on a frequency served by this node,
type C# callsign, where # is the port number to use.
Note: If you use the C# form of the connect command to a
neighboring network node, the connection will be made as a
plain AX.25 connect (i.e., like that made by Kantronics KA nodes).
!#133
Help - Gives this information
Info - Gives basic information about this node
Justheard - Lists stations recently heard. A port number may be given
as an optional argument to list stations heard on that port only.
Knode - Lists Kantronics nodes heard. A port number may be given
as an optional argument to list nodes heard on that port only.
Netnodes - Lists network nodes heard
Ports - Gives description for each port
Routes - Lists routes used to get to nodes
!#134
Users - Lists users and nodes currently connected
!#135
Commands available:
^ZB to disconnect.
^ZR to return to BBS.
^ZU for who is on the system. Output format: in ( ) after call:
B = using BBS, C = in conference/chan number.
To ask a station to join conference, use ^ZP chan number (EX: ^Zp 5).
^ZD displays DX spotting info; ^ZA adds it (EX: ^ZA ZZ1ZZ on 14.123)
Anything else typed will be sent to all stations in conference.
!#136
Usage: MCForward portmask
The rightmost bit is for port 0. A 1 bit in a given port position enables
simultaneous forwarding and bbs activity on that port.
!#137
Usage: ACceptmid [ON or OFF]
If ON, Message ID string found on S command will be used if present. If
OFF or MID is missing, one will be generated if BIDALL is on.
!#138
Usage: AX25Backoff portmask
The rightmost bit is for port 0. A 1 bit in a given port position causes
the FRACK value for that port to be multiplied by the retry number to
determine how long to wait before retransmitting packets that haven't been
acked.
!#139
Usage: MSgtrailer [ON or OFF]
If on, when a msg is read on the bbs (except with RN or RE) a line is sent
at the end of the message indicating its number and who it was from.
!#140
Usage: NOBEacoons portmask
The rightmost bit if for port 0. A 1 bit in a given port position prevents
any beacons (ID, Mail for, Beacon text etc) from being transmitted on that
port. Network node beacons (nodes list broadcasts) are not affected by this
command.
!#141
Usage: BBSNode [ON or OFF]
If on (and network node is enabled) bbs is visible to network and may be
directly connected to from the network. The bbs node is bbs-alias:bbscall.
!#142
Usage: VErifysysop [ON or OFF]
If on connects to the BBS using the sysop's call (other than from the local
keyboard use) will require sysop verification.
!#143
Usage: DUmpbbs [ON or OFF]
If on (default) if a bbs forwarding to you uses command other than S or F
an immediate disconnect will occur. A station that sends a SID ( [...] )
is considered to be a BBS.
!#144
Usage: NETOnly [ON] or [OFF]
If on, only bbs systems are allowed to connect to the BBS via network.
!#145
Usage: NETRead #
Specifies maximum number of bytes in message to read or file to download
via network connection to BBS.
!#146
Usage: MAXbulage #
If the difference between today's date and the date in the oldest
R: line in bulletin is greater than the number given (default 32000)
the bulletin will be killed.
!#147
Usage: INitprt [ON or OFF]
If on, printer is initializeded each time before printing something.
!#148

!#152
Usage: TS HHMMSS
Sets the DOS clock to given time in hours, minutes and seconds (2 dig each)
!#153
Usage: WRecord window#
Toggles recording of output to given window. Window N's output is written
to file windowN.dat. If no operand is given, status of window recording
is given. NOTE: This is a high overhead function and should not be used
often!
!#154

With no option, displays status of active channels, buffer space/errors on
serial ports, and dispatches per second.
